Local flavor for a national coffee store
As a national coffee retailer opened a store in Austin, they made sure to use every local resource possible. Austin architectural firm Antenora Architects recommended concrete for the countertop surfaces.
For their first store in Austin, we created a custom color of sage green concrete that brightly contrasts the darker reds and tans of the river-stone aggregate and finely compliments the pale oak millwork. The surfaces of the countertops were ground down to release the aggregate and then polished to a semi-gloss shine for maximum impact. The combination will be brightening the mornings of coffee-loving Austinites for years.
